Sofidy has made public the acquisition of the Canopée office building, located in Guyancourt in Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines, from Osae Partners. The asset is owned at 60% on behalf of SCPI Immorente and at 40% on behalf of SCPU Efimmo, Sofidy’s two historic vehicules, which manage respectively € 2.8 Bn and € 1.1 Bn worth of assets.
“This office asset meets all our investment criteria. Besides the soundness of its tenant on the long term, we have been impressed by the quality and comfort of the building, which is also HQE certified. We appreciate the tertiary market fundamentals in Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines, in which we have carried on other investments in recent years” (Olivier Loussouarn, Real Estate Investment Director at Sofidy).
“We had acquired this asset in 2010 on behalf of a French institutional investor. After 8 years of asset management and discussions with the tenants, we have managed in 2017 to sign the renewal of Sodexo’s lease on a 9 firm year basis” (Emeric Lacourte, Managing Director at Osae Partners).
